sort of AU, I guess, Mello and Near older and working on detectivey stuff. not sure what brought it on, it just sort of made itself up while i was working on it.... i didn't freestyle the car, btw, just did a quickie trace.

*squee!* I LOVE pictures that tell a story like this! :D The rain and blurring police lights are rendered so awesomely--and I like how Mello's got a coat on, while Near's just in his pajamas, even in the rain. :lol:

Yeah, I finally realized that--sorry! Haha, I see Near in baggy white clothes and I automatically assume PJs. :blush: I took a better look at it full-view after commenting and realized that he seems to be wearing a tie, though. :blush:

Anyway, I forgot to add that the headlights looks awesome, too. :D Painting rain isn't something everybody can do, but it looks very natural here!

Whatever Mello is saying, Near looks completely and entirely unimpressed.

...of course he usually looks unimpressed anyway. HMM. What could they be solving...I vote murder. :'B And Mello is trying to make a joke, but Near doesn't think it's funny.
