The weather is horrible and Sirius convinces Lupin it's ok for him to go outside for a few minutes without anyone noticing. Lupin is dubious and not too thrilled to be out in the rain.
I got the idea for this from the Shawshank Redemption ^.- That bit at the end where he just stands in the rain. After being trapped inside for ages, I bet there's nothing as amazing and alive as standing and letting the rain fall on your face.
