omg, this took SO LONG.
I'm mostly thrilled with the way it came out...I sort of wasn't so accurate with how I felt the lighting should be bc I felt like a lot of the detail on the bike would be lost if I didn't have a little more light from the front, and after trudging through the sketchlines for all that stuff I wasn't about to simply drown it in darkness. I also felt like the color of the light could have been stronger, but strong non-white light effects are something I'm weirdly paranoid about overdoing for some reason...I'm working on it hehe. Enough technical stuff...Mello's such a live wire I wanted to draw him just sort of....relaxed and peaceful, but in a Mello sort of way. I can just see him getting pissed off at everyone in sight and going off for a long bike ride out in the middle of nowhere to blow off some steam. Hope you like it  Mello (c) Ohba & Obata Also, I did NOT design the boots and the jacket...they were done off references I found in online biker catalogues lol.  may repost |

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you  the news article as well as check out the individual pieces.
