the peaking sun
scores shadows sharp
cast hard and brittle down:
bleak panes
on bleach and blinding grains,
concrete, dead leaves, the textures of the street
all white and black, planed flat—
ammonia harshed and sheened.

I hate paper-cut days.
all softened edges leeched,
no blur, no thumb-smudged muffle
of murmurs merge and fogged, no watercolor shuffle,

whining keen

well, probably they'd be wearing the helmets so they'd be less recognizable, but if i'd drawn the helmets it would kind of defeat the point...idk.

Wow, I like how you made Near look like he's pacing himself! I loved this scene and how Lights like. "Come on! Where's Near? He's got to be there!" lol I don't know if those are his actual words, but........... yeah ^^;
